Violent storm disturbs sleep!
A violent, electrical storm in Warsaw shattered my plans for an early night and a solid eight hours sleep at the end of the group stages of Euro 2012. Many residents and visitors to the city were woken from their beds at around two thirty in the morning.
Euro 2012 explodes into life
Euro 2012 has exploded into life here in Poland and Ukraine. We have had some classic matches, shock results and emotional nights for the host nations. England even managed a creditable draw against the French!
Euro 2012 Preperations
I am currently well into preparation for Euro 2012 which kicks off in Poland and Ukraine on Friday June 8th. International tournaments like this one are among the highlights of my working life. I have absorbed this month’s editions of both “World Soccer” magazine and “Four Four Two”, become familiar with Sweden’s new attacking approach, the Greek full backs and all manner of minutiae which might prove useful in covering the championship.
